Leticia Sánchez Garris

Mix Media Artist, 1993, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, but also based in Buenos Aires since 2010. I spent my formative years cultivating a dialogue with the African roots in Latin America, where I developed a keen interest in arts, culture, and ancestry. My captivating and one-of-a-kind visuals are for my inner child, where we dialog about my origins through symbols, nature, and textiles. I'm the founder and creative director of Afrohunting, a creative studio and entertainment platform, based on the narration of Africa's arts and audiovisual culture worldwide. My work has been exhibited in Buenos Aires and online.
