“Souvenirs” is a unique composition consisting of two distinct paintings seamlessly merged into a harmonious whole. Teixeira employs a remarkable technique wherein one painting, cut into pieces, is artfully arranged and affixed onto the other. This innovative approach creates a pixelated effect, adding a contemporary and dynamic dimension to the classical inspiration.

The central subject of the artwork is a seated woman, her form reminiscent of classical portrayals of the female figure. The intentional display of one breast alludes to the historical representations of the nude in art while injecting a sense of sensuality and vulnerability.
